Mikado Sushi Steak House - Pineville

Called in an order for hibachi. Asked what types of hibachi they offered since I did t have a menu. And everything online is 3 years old or older. She responded with meat and all other kinds. So I asked for shrimp and scallops with only fried rice. It was a to go order to be picked up. The shrimp were over cooked, scallops were grainy with full of sand. The rice was old and hard. Only thing was good was the noodles that were hot and I didn’t order those. For $27 I would expected better results than this.

Dismal. Raunchy inappropriate music played the entire time we were there. Got DA roll it had old shrimp, sushi roll used to be my favorite one. Waitress wanted to school me on shrimp tempura batter and that they didn't put seasoning in it. ?Duh. This roll used to have some kick to it with flavorful sauces on top. No more. Old oranges on my plate. Not cool. This used to be my favorite restaurant in Cenla. I'm sorry to see it like this. ? Hopefully they can bring it back before it has to close it's doors like Sake Sushi in Alexandria had to do.

We ordered Edamame as an appetizer and normally they come steamed with flakes of salt on them. Ours came with 2 flakes of salt LITERALLY! We told our waitress who told the manager we didn’t like it and the manager refused to take it off the ticket. By the time this all went down we had already had our food and were full.It was the lack of making a customer happy that did it for me.We won’t be back!With customer service like this they will be closed in no time.
