Bidrage med feedbackReveille BBQ is Veteran Owned and operated. A thousand stars and many thanks to you!Very cool decor and super friendly and funny staff. The German sausage is tiny bit peppery, well made and my German men liked it. It goes well with their sweet sour mustard. I had the lean brisket and it was perfect. It was well seasoned and moist. The red barbecue sauce was perfect too. Not heavy on the vinegar and heat. The ribs were seasoned well and tasty. The meats were to my liking as I prefer dry rubbed over wet. Don’t worry they’ve got plenty of sauce for that. The potato salad was a little spicy as was the Tex elote. Twice baked mashed potatoes, Mac’ cheese, green beans and the house relish were tasty.Keep in mind it’s a byob. They do sell bottled water and canned soft drinks.
Great place!! The meaning of the name is very honorable! Highly recommend
We tried the menu several times. incredible bark rib! swarms were exactly right, also enjoyed the sausage, brisket and pulled pork. eat well!
Came today to lunch with my man, first impression was unsafe haha, that is not her typical bbq joint, air smells not of smoke, floors and tables were literally sparkling clean and so the stainless steel was visible in the kitchen from everywhere in the restaurant. we ordered two 2 meat blue plate specials, they get 1 4lb each meat per plate. I ordered ripening and sausage and my man ordered brisket and truthahn. we tried the makkaroni and cheese, elote mais and senf kartoffel salad. macaroni and potato salad were decent what they expect at every grill place. the scaboo salad was in fact tasty, but not dry at all and nicely plucked. the elote was interesting, I never had it somewhere, so I had no idea what to expect. the menu said from the bay, but it seemed like mais for me, it had a creamy southwesterly spicy, cercased cheese and mais with a fold of zilantro, I thought it was great, some enjoyed it too. the ribs were ok, nicely seasoned they had great taste and good texture. the sausage was also quite good, but definitiw lacked the smokey taste that I generally associate with bbq. we both liked the sausage with their BBQ sauce, spicy and a bit of weeping, it was good with the pork. the brisket was pretty good, very nice bark and smoke ring, tender and damp, but not as tasteful as I hoped. that is, the piece I tried was on the lean side and the other, more fat end was delicious. the clear star of the show was the truthahn, moist, tasteful and smokey, it was all we hoped and more, definitiw not give up the truthahn! we also got a rehearsal of the black bell and I wish I had ordered it, it was delicious, but very rich. the woman who leads the theke was very friendly and attentive, without floating. I would certainly come back, do not let them mislead the small size or location, that eating was so happy. a last note to add from my man, he missed the classic hamburger dill pickle chips, as the pickles on the plate were from the bread and butter variant, I enjoyed the pickled wobbles, slightly sweet went well I thought.
I was hoping these types were nice and I love veteran possession but a big problem. now I had the black bell that was amazing! I had to be the one who had to be day old because I was very dry. I also had brisket, which also had to be day old because the half of the disc was very dry, but the part that was not very good. the banan strawberry pudding was just ok. hoping when I go back and everything is fresh, it will become a 5-star rating, I'm sure.
