Happy Days Diner - Pikeville

The crispy bacon was best I've had in a while, biscuits and gravy was delicious.

I walked in and could immediately smell the fresh biscuits. I ordered eggs over easy,biscuits with gravy and fried taters....yes I said it taters!!! When my order was ready it was brought to me by the owner/Cook. Man when I broke the biscuit open I could smell the buttermilk. As I was eating, the first thing entering my mind was my grandmother. I continued to eat and before long I had shed a tear, because I hadn't had a biscuit this good since my grandmother had gotten sick. But anyway this is a must stop if you're a true, country breakfast loving country folk. Oh and the bacon was cooked just right also. Crispy!!!

A hidden gem in the heart of Pikeville, Kentucky! My husband and I ate here for the very first time this past weekend. The food, the staff, the atmosphere...everything was perfect. Good home cooking and the best homemade cathead biscuits on the planet! This was our first time, but definitely not our last!
