Ihop

Went to ihop w my bf around 10am. Our server was super nice at first. We finished our pancakes and asked for one last plate and the server went to the kitchen and got us one our pancakes. We asked for a To-go box because we were starting to run late for a flight and didn’t wanna waste the pancakes and the server walked away, walked to the seating area and talks very loudly and says “if one more person asks for a to go box for the all you can eat I’m gonna lose it” and the other server goes “these people should know better” Completely inappropriate and uncalled for. When the server comes back, she’s nice to our face but drops the box on the table and says “just to let you know, you can’t ask for a to go box for all you can eat” and then in a snarky tone says, “Same way you don’t get a to go box for Golden Corral” and I said to her in the most respectful way, “you never said we couldn’t have a box. If I knew that wasn’t allowed, I wouldn’t have asked” she rolled her eyes and walked away. I would never be rude to servers since I know the job gets overwhelming at some point but communication goes a LONG way instead of embarrassing customers because you can’t simply say “we don’t give out boxes for all you can eat” Completely unacceptable and RUDE. Would she rather us waste the pancakes she JUST brought out to us?

Aseel Aseel Aseel. If you've experienced her graciousness as a server, you will come back just for her kind interaction. She's been my server a few times and doesn't disappoint. Friendly to everyone. Remembers your order correctly. Food is nice and hot, tasty. I've never waited very long for my food. Easy to get to from I 90/I 39. Near TA Travel Center, hotels, shopping, movie theater.

Even though this is my favorite breakfast place, their food has been greatly slacking over the last few years. This was always my number 1 choice now I rarely go

I went out there on a date with my bf for my birthday on the 8th and my server was the sweetest woman ever. The food just hit the spot and i greatly enjoyed my time there. Miya i think her name was, the tag was a little difficult to read, but Miya was the absolute sweetest to us and even the little small talk didn’t feel awkward between us. Miya if you ever see this review, i just want you to know you made me enjoy my birthday so much more than before that breakfast. I hope you find more successes in your life and you live a long happy life <3
