Milos Greek Restaurant - Pickering

We went at noon for a luncheon...about 25 of us. The service was excellent and the food was very tasty and large portions. Vegetarian meals available....I had the Vegetarian Moussaka. Felt that they could have used vegan meat in the recipe...but it was still very delicious. A bit of confusion on my bill which was rectified.

I come here all the time as the food is great but the last visit left me never wanting to return. I showed up at 9:15 for dinner. The website from google says 10pm close so I figured we were okay for dinner. When we arrived the hostess looked at us with an obvious face of nervousness almost. She took us to the table and before we sat down said "we close at 9:30 so you need to order right away." I said I read online that they close at 10 and she said sometimes it's 9:30. We told her we'd just find somewhere else to go. She said they wouldn't kick us out but by her attitude it was too late for us to want to stay. It's too bad because the food is so good but the service was terrible.

Service is great here just went for my second time. My son and I. My son has been to Greece .. And knows what the food taste like .. He said it was excellent .and large portions. Lunch specials are large

This is my 2nd review. I guess I didn't learn the 1st time I had a bad experience, I had to go back again. You would think they look at the bad reviews and try to improve their business but, I guess they just don't care.Recently, we ordered 2 large souvlaki dinners - 1 with chicken and 1 with pork. When we got home we opened the container and it was more than half empty. Did I mention we ordered LARGE dinners? If you are going to be cheap on the servings then you should definitely use smaller containers. It really looks bad when the container is less than half full. SHAME ON YOU FOR BEING SO **** CHEAP! And Yes, as many others have said on their reviews, they must count their olives and tomatoes when they portion their greek salads - terrible!

The lamb was okay nothing special considering the cost of each meal. They give you a lot of rice and a little lamb on top. I have had better Greek food at other Greek restaurants. Considering each meal is about 25 a pop it's not worth it.
