Bidrage med feedbackWe visited the restaurant in March, and the garden dining area, Guendalina, was not open. We did get a good look at it, however, and it 's a very attractive space. We ate in the indoor Disco Restaurant venue, still part of the same establishment, but with a very different mood a little bit of Las Vegas in Sicily. Actually, it was fun, and quite unexpected. The food here is superb. We had a seafood feast created by the Conti family 's kitchen team, Giancarlo, Danilo and Paride. We had swordfish parmigiana, calamari fried zucchini flowers for starters, then linguine with red prawns and porcini mushrooms, followed by a perfect salmon filet with patate viola (sauteed cubes of purple, nearly black, potatoes, evidently a variety native to Peru). Everything was presented elegantly, as befitted the complex but subtle flavors. With a bottle of locally produced white wine, it was a memorable meal. Gourmet dining in the middle of Sicily!
