Ristorante Bar Bertolini

Very quiet on our midweek visit but it was an amazing meal. Menu is a choice of two pastas (primi platti) and two main meals. Menu is spoken not written down but the patrons were happy to use an app to translate! A little more expensive than other meals we’ve had on our holiday but the experience of real homemade local food made it worthwhile.

Good food but difficult to converse. I don't speak Italian and servers don't speak English but honestly that's half the fun. Fixed menu and prices are reasonable. I liked the bolognese and atmosphere.

Perhaps the problem was we didn’t speak Italian. There seemed to be no menu. We were offered a set one. The food was tasty but some of us were small children or vegetarian so only had small bowl of pasta. It was the most expensive meal so far and that includes Rome!

Friendly staff, good food (which includes many local and local ingredients) and a great atmosphere. the price is also very reasonable.
