The atmosphere was poor and service was so-so. The food was not very good. I ordered combo #3 with 1 chicken 1 shredded beef taco and a bean tostada. They had no flavor. I poured tons of salsa on everything. Yes the chicken was all breast meat but not very good. The beef was barely shredded! There were HUGE chucks with gristle. The beans were horrible! Even the rice was not very good. My partner ordered the Chicken burrito covered in green chili sauce. He ate a third of it and threw it away. He was also given a warm bottle of cold water. I recommend Chayo 's on Thomas just east of 44th Street. Yum! PS. There is a Phoenix police officer patrolling the parking lot in a golf cart.
This food is absolutely the best new Mexico style food I have ever had!!!! I chose the open face fry bread layered with beans. I chose green chili beef, lettuce cheese, tomato, sour cream, oh my god when I got it actually overlapped the plate. It was out of this world. My topping choices were red chili beef, chili, and white chicken breast, shredded beef (machaca), carne asada and just plain beans and chicken. Not expensive at all and the staff was very courteous!!
