Youma African Cuisine - Philadelphia

The food is really good. The space is a bit seedy but some restaurants are beautiful and serve boring cuisine. It’s a good place to eat and the food is very good. Wish we’d known that it’s cash only.

Youma african cuisine no longer exists. I went and it was clear that the restaurant was out of business.

Enjoyed it. Very homey. Really interesting dishes. If you are impatient, or expect to be waited on hand and foot, dont bother. But if you are looking for something different, in a funky neighborhood, with a variety of interesting dishes and a novel cuisine, go for it. Staff are really friendly,
