Bidrage med feedbackI rarely write reviews, but I had such a fantastic experience at this restaurant last Sunday that I had to share. My boyfriend and I were in Philadelphia for the week and decided to dine here after hearing about their renowned lobster roll (which was absolutely delicious). The food and drinks were outstanding, and the service from the bartender and waiter truly exceeded our expectations. They were friendly and knowledgeable; the bartender even recommended some local sights for us to explore. Our waiter suggested a fantastic wine when our first choice was not available, and surprised us with a dessert to share as a special treat for my boyfriend's birthday. Overall, the food and service were seriously amazing!
Had dinner here one evening looking for a spot for a rehearsal dinner. Had an amazing vegetarian stew. Been back a few times for lunch. Small, quiet, restaurant in an old row house. Great food and drinks. I consider it a gem of a find!
We've been twice now and both times the food, service, and ambiance were great. Dishes tried: The Pig Ears are a must try Bistro Steak Burger (get the friend egg on it Various oysters Soft shell crab appetizer salas Roasted beet salad (amazing! Bucatini Clams
I can only speak for the brunch service, but the servers were very attentive and attentive to the entire dining floor. You could ask any server for assistance and they were responsive. The food and drinks were delicious. While a bit on the pricey side for brunch, it's understandable given the location in the center of the city. The overall value was lacking.
Actually enjoyed this place for brunch!! from it 's 'how strong do you want your mimosa ' to the various flavors you get to make them(I mean most places make it and give it to you, but you get to decide the flavor and potency!! Food was on point and definitely filling, which you will notice is a big thing in my reviews, and the service was also not lack luster. My friends had to take a doggie bag home..hahaha. Very unique idea with the mimosa...orange, guava cucumber, cranberry, and this grapefruit juice mix that was sweet....with the main ingredient placed at the table in a bucket so you can mix and make for only 14$. Casual to upscale attire form the design of the inside. Parking will have to be paid for since it 's in the city area, or you can uber there depending on how you are feeling.
