Lacroix At The Rittenhouse

This first class restaurant in a 5 stars rittenhouse hotel is full of amazing experience. the server are super attentive, very nurturing, and total food flavor corresponds to the expectation that I especially loved the a5 wagyu curly with cut fresh black truffle along with fresh washabi. it was boiled to a perfection and had a nice balance with washabi, truffle slices and sosse. one of the best wagyu I had so far. desserts were all wonderful. I loved how everyone tasted and enjoyed every bit of them!

The seating and arrangement of the tables plus the decoration and atmosphere looked amazing. I loved the view we've been given and I love the sets of dishes and foot we're able to eat. This would be a great 10/10 restaurant.

(Update: 2020) I loved Lacroix until a while, and I think recently the taste of the food has gone a bit down. During my recent visit, I did the Chef's tasting. While the food was plated in an eye catching manner, the taste was a bit lacking. I was especially displeased with the Pheasant, which was just plain dry. I would, however, extend my compliments to the pastry chef, because the desserts were on point. Hope you guys get better, and back to your previous quality. On a side note The service is still one of the best in the city and the ambiance is fantastic as usual. (2 years ago) One of the best restaurants in Philadelphia. The food was sumptuous, and the service was mind blowing.

Amazing dining experience! Every dish was delightful, starting with the creamy, perfectly salted butter. The strawberry salad was wonderfully enhanced by a rich, creamy dressing. The soup was creamy and slightly rich, but the poached egg was a fabulous addition. The baguette was perfectly toasted, achieving just the right balance of crispiness outside and softness inside! The salmon and the seafood dish were outstanding; the salmon was moist and juicy with a perfect crisp exterior. The beetroot sandwich offered a wonderfully original flavor. The combinations of textures and the skill in preparation were unforgettable. Overall, this was one of the best meals of my journey, and we will definitely return for dinner during our short trip. Reservations are already made!

Extraordinary brunch! I visited the jubilee brunch with my wife, and they were incredibly accommodating. The staff is very well trained, which greatly enhanced our experience. I noticed one employee meticulously arranging the cutlery and checking the glassware for fingerprints, demonstrating their attention to detail. Besides the excellent service, the food itself deserves outstanding reviews as well—definitely a five-star experience. The chef addressed my vegetarian request and prepared dishes that were absolutely delightful. Overall, it was a peaceful and exquisite culinary experience in the heart of the city.
