North Shore Seafoods - Petrie Creek

This restaurant serves the best fish and chips we have had in years. We were traveling for almost a year and were delighted to find such fresh fish and delicious homemade dough. The traditional sides of asparagus and fish cocktails were a hit with the kids. We also purchased some fresh Mooloolaba prawns to take with us and they were also delicious. I would highly recommend making the trip to visit this place. Great job, guys, you have really outdone yourselves.

I have visited this restaurant before and had a good experience in the past. However, this time the potato scallops were dry and the chips were soggy. The scallops were burnt and had a terrible taste from the old cooking oil. The food seemed overcooked and had a bad flavor, likely due to the old oil not being changed recently. I would recommend changing the oil more frequently to improve the quality of the fried food.

During our short vacation in Mudjimba, our Airbnb hosts recommended this restaurant as the best spot for fish and chips. The fish was tasty, but the potato scallops were the real standout for me, so much so that we only ordered them on subsequent visits. The service was excellent, with one gentleman even bringing fresh water for my dog without being asked - a thoughtful gesture. We also tried the fresh shrimp, which were incredibly fresh and delicious. Overall, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

When the fish has been taken on land and then displayed on the counter, you only know that you will be fresh and tasty. Perfectly cooked cod chips. Great value combo meal. Excellent service in immaculate clean environment. Shore is good.

2 pieces of cod and 5 bucks worth of chips, fish large portions and nicely crumbed. Chips were plentiful, crunchy, fresh and tasty. Throw in fast, friendly and efficient service and the locals here are on a winner when they visit this shop.
