Bidrage med feedbackFood was at best, average. The service was very pleasant and all the staff very nice, but I cannot say the same of the food. In fact I just ended up eating the rice. My wife had the fish and prawns, which I did try and again pretty mediocre. I'd struggle to recommend this place, with other choices available
The restaurant is very pleasant. The person in charge of our table was super professional. I ordered one of the skewer menu with acras, served with a mini salad, and for my main course, I had the duck breast with a mix of sweet potato fries and regular fries. Delicious!
This old establishment still retains some authenticity. I have eaten there frequently on the upper level and will continue to do so. It's ideal for sipping a lemonade in the morning or a coffee in the afternoon in the ground floor lounge.
If you want to experience authentic Creole cuisine, this is the place to go. On Thursdays, they serve an impressive buffet with starters, hot dishes, and desserts for a reasonable price of 30 euros (beverages not included). The atmosphere is charming and stylishly decorated, but the service can be a bit slow. The buffet is served in three courses, so be prepared to spend about 2 hours enjoying your meal.
There are plenty of bars and eateries with shops all around.
