The Trooper Inn - Petersfield

Staying here all week. So far on my second day. Highly recommend the hotel and also the good. Very nice. Stayed in a lot of different places for work and this is up there with the best!

Warm welcome from the host and all staff. Clean comfortable rooms. Unusual pub and garden with its own unique style but the food is superb. Can't wait until I'm in the area again for another stopover.

Despite having a very adventurous and curious 2 year old (which can be tricky when eating out) this beautiful yet quirky pub provided everything we wanted...huge lush gardens with gorgeous countryside views... Which the children loved exploring. The food was delicious. We had the beef Sunday dinner with all the trimmings. Even with its beautiful setting and views aside, the charming, relaxed and friendly hospitality is what makes me sure we'll be coming back and back to this little gem!

Not sure what there is not to love about this place. Very accommodating. Great staff. Super owners. Try the lamb, yum.

Amazing vegan Christmas card 3 cursor meal and good service also! I usually write cripples, but they have smashed it! Many thanks. ideal for a walk from petersfield with ya pup and mates and then a few beer and good food! and that was also good. would always eat here! support local business!
