Bidrage med feedbackThis was our first experience in the City Table and we will be DEFINATELY back!!! The wings and crabs were DELICIOUS and the atmosphere was beautiful! Our server, Khiry was AWESOME, friendly and made sure we take care of it! My only complaint was that I did not try one of all on the menu
We had a fantastic server named Norman at this restaurant yesterday. The place has a charming atmosphere with a lot of history. The food was delicious, though I forgot to take photos. I ordered the crab and avocado salad, my sister had a chicken sandwich, and my parents had the shrimp and grits and a burger. Everything was delicious. For dessert, we split a sherbet and gelato.
I am now a handful of time here, every time the experience was great and also very unforgettable. Once you enter the restaurant, you will be welcomed by professional staff who have been clearly trained as you deal with the guests. I only had drinks at the bar from there. The bar is quite ingeniously stacked with knowledgeable bartenders who are not afraid to entertain you. I think it's good that bartenders here can multitask by holding a conversation with guests, ensuring that food orders are correct and handle complicated drinks at the same time! The bar is at the heart of the City Table with plenty of space to eat. In addition to the bar staff you will see a few TVs and a wide range of alcohol. I had some of their appetizers and some of the signature cocktails. I would definitely try the Chesapeake crab puppet perfectly cooked hush puppies with real lumps crabs and frits. The Mac and the cheese was delicious, but at some point I must taste the most delicious hamburger everyone says is amazing. City Table has a range of food and beverage options with an ambience to adjust the mood. Prices and proportions are well matched. Kudos to the cook, he's not new to it and makes an amazing job. After talking to the owners, I am convinced that the City Table will thrive. Good luck!
I visited this restaurant for the first time and tried the Jambalaya. The dish had just the right amount of spices for a casual meal, yet it was bold and flavorful. The architecture and age of the building immediately caught my attention when I walked through the door. Be prepared to eat, as the portions are quite generous!
The restaurant has a lovely ambiance with a historical touch that I appreciate. The layout is well-designed and has a nice view. The food was amazing, especially the honey salmon Cobb salad which was flavorful. The bar looks fantastic, although I haven't had the opportunity to check it out yet. The service was prompt and the staff was friendly.
