York Road Fisheries - Peterlee

If I had my way it would be no stars!!! Stood in shop for approx 30mins waiting for x2 parmos. Only 3 staff working there. 2 of them were just standing seeing to deliveries n didnt matter about the ppl who took there time to walk to the shop. As we stood so long waiting we noticed how dirty the shop is since changing hands not long ago. Arrived back home with food n chips were a weired colour and they looked like scraps. Each chip had black on them and no potato inside. They were hard like they'd been pre-cooked then re-fried. Parmos were cold and no taste to them. If we hadn't of been so hungry the food would of all gone in the bin. This chippy used to be lovely, really gone down hill and would never go back. Will stick the Royal Arms chippy in future. Much better food.

Took to long far delivery ,chips were like rocks ,didn't even look like chips looks like scraps, but cheese patte was lovely so I'm giving u 2 star far pattees Food: 2 Service: 2

I had an amazing experience at York Road Fisheries! The food was top-notch, especially the Cowboy Supper. The flavours were outstanding, and the portion size was generous. The staff was friendly and the ambiance was welcoming. Definitely a must-visit if you're in the area! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner

Outstanding pizzas! Great customer service.. 1 star removed which is no knock to the business but as we parked had two knackers accosting me for money! Could put people off, having two wronguns waiting for you to get out of the car and asking you for money when you're just trying to collect your food!!
