The Cabin - Peterborough

This was our first time experiencing poorly cooked fries at the cabin. We have been long-time customers but after this experience, it will be our last visit.

Absolutely disappointed, will not ever be back and will be telling everyone I know about the experience.

(visited Sep. or Oct. '17) I gave this Cabin an average grade, as it was very busy with the kid 's school soccer teams, playing in the nearby park. I think managers should know to put more staff on, when there are groups playing. The kids always get lunch money to spend at this place. I know, as I live nearby, and see it bombarded every year. The staff there, were trying to hurry, but so many kids there. We got our hotdogs and poutine, and had a wee picnic, on the grassy part, as we had a 2 year old with us, who thought this was quite a treat...some different way of eating. There are also a few picnic tables to use. Will probably go back, to try again, as we live so close, but this was my first time here. We have no way of knowing when these games are, and we had already planned to go that day, so had to wait!

Had lunch here with a couple co workers. Better than average seating for a chip truck. Good chip truck fries. Co workers had the burgers and they said the burgers were very good and appropriately greasy. I had the chicken tenders which were good but a very small portion (2 small pieces) more appropriate for a kid. Prices are very reasonable.

Just left The Cabin after trying to get a quick bite but left empty handed instead. After waiting over 25 mins for a burger and fries with only two customers in front of me I found out they didn't even have my burger on the grill. Instead they made a burger for some one that had already received their food and left. Also they advertise fresh burgers but they were preformed burgers that were frozen. Over all a very disappointing experience and a place I will never visit again.
