1 star isn 't low enough to out-low the experience just endured at McT. I have been there before. The Manager or Owner and his daughter were hospitable as many other staff I have met over the years while in town. So basically what occurred tonight was that they refused service to a disabled person based on the fact that their gait looked intoxicated . I tried to help and explain but they told her to get the **** out and threatened to call the cops. She wasn 't even trying to order alcohol, just food from one of her favorite places. They refused to provide owners info so I 'm going public until I am contacted. The AODA will be a factor. Employees have no formal training when asked about it. No reason or logic used other than it 's private property .

Best draft menu in a 100km radius by far and constantly rotating. The food is well above most pubs and the atmosphere is as expected for an Irish based pub. The staff are very nice and most can direct you on wet selections if you're unsure.

The food is definitely improved, but I do miss the old dive charm of the place when it was a bit grungier and more authentic. Plus, they used to have Guinness on tap - you can't have an Irish pub without it. They should bring it back.

Visited on a friday night. Had a wonderful time. We stayed into the early hours of the morning, and the band they had was great. Awesome atmosphere, huge variety of on tap beers, and the fries were so delicious. Definitely going back here.

I visited the restaurant on a Sunday and had trouble getting the server's attention. Eventually, my friend and I ordered pitchers of Cracked Canoe beer, which was available on tap. The beer selection was great, but the menu seemed intimidating. The restaurant appears to be more of a late night spot based on the decor. When we went to pay for our second pitcher, the server did not provide a receipt and simply told us the price, which raised some suspicions. It seems like she may be either the owner or possibly not being completely honest. Despite this, I will still return for the drink selection on a different day.
