Simply a disaster, our reserved table was simply given away, just like to a woman with her child who was disappointed, just like we were. We were treated poorly by the server, he had no understanding for any of us, on the contrary, he constantly had a cheeky smile on his face. Eventually, we left with our e-bikes with empty stomachs, even though I had praised Giedel so much to my sister. My sister and I felt so humiliated, we had never been treated like this before. In addition to all the stress we experienced at Giedel, we also had a bike accident. We reserved for lunch on 28.01.2022.

As previously mentioned, everything is just like back in the day. I have known this place since my earliest childhood, almost 60 years. My grandpa, who worked in the mine as a young man, told me many stories. You feel transported back in time, and with a bit of imagination, you can see the miners in your mind's eye, drinking their beer and schnapps after hard work. Some of them would spend their entire month's earnings there. The bartender would keep track of everything throughout the month, and at the end, the bill would come. Since no one remembered what they had consumed all month, there was not much left for the wife and kids. Tough times back then. But today, there is friendly staff working there and the bill is accurate as well.
