Metro Cafe - Petaluma

The bathroom was small. The sink was extremely small. There was a leak from the room upstairs which put a cup of water into my suitcase even though it was in the middle of the living space. They told me there is a bathroom directly above the living space and sometimes it leaks. All they said was: it happens sometimes.

Truly an organic experience ... swamp gases from poor plumbing made for some heath issues. Cute room, comfortable bed, nice fire pit; but needs more parking spaces on the property. Even a lock on the door, better service provider as thr TV would play for 5 secs, and freeze for 20!

Kitschy little place. Rooms were a little small but all around alright. Nice shared kitchen area and the staff makes complementary crepes in the morning at 8am. Cute fire pit and some outdoor seating area. Had an issue with our room but left pretty satisfied with the resolution they offered.

It was pleasant, but for the price, we probably won 't return. Liked · The famous crepes (read other reviews) were tasty, albeit cold. The funky French vibe was kind of fun. Gave the property a unique feel. Bed was clean and comfortable. Staff was good about helping us with items we almost left behind. Disliked · There were supposed to be hard boiled eggs for breakfast, but apparently by 8:30 they had run out, even though the breakfast started at 8. Staff could have been friendlier no smiles or Good Mornings . We were surprised with the the French vibe, there was no bidet in the bathroom. :

Absolutely fabulous. We got in late and purchased a bottle of French wine at check in. I had a lovely bath and a claw foot tub. Slept in a plush comfortable bed. Woke up in the morning to have pour over French coffee and crêpes. Discovered that they have a beautiful outdoor seating area and small airstream trailers for lodging as well. I wouldn’t consider staying at any other hotel in Petaluma. It’s perfect!
