Torches - Petaluma

Drinks were very good, food was fine. We were there on a Saturday night after a local festival had just wrapped up. The dining room is just one big space and was crowded with several large groups. It was very loud. Our waitress encouraged us to relocate to the bar and it was a little bit quieter but certainly not an intimate dining experience!

Honestly while the cocktails are big they are not that good. The risotto was virtually flavorless and it was $3 extra for a single slice of overcooked bacon. Happy hour menu is decent but would probably only come here for beers and the cheesecakes from now on.

Great place to hangout. Huge dining circular space. Bar in the center of the donut hole. Food big bold taste with the New York steak and lobster and shrimp pasta. Nom nom.

We hired a private room for an event. Alice was the most helpful and lovely host, we were so welcomed. A restaurant full of good food and run with love

Four of us had an awesome experience last Friday night at Jan’s 256. Our server, Alice was especially attentive to our needs and wants. Our meals were spot on as usual. Jan’s short ribs are the best in town and the fish and chips were perfection. Always enjoy being at 256.
