I had them at one of the Michelin rated restaurants drove all the way from the Peninsula to get this for thanksgiving weekend it definitely hit the spot and didnt disappoint but the only complaint I have is that they sometimes don't have it . They don't have it on the weekend or some days so be sure to call ahead of time. Wish you can also order it online that way you can just pick it up.
Ate at Della Fattoria Downtown Café today.The food is absolutely wonderful. The wait time is long. The service is well intentioned, but bad.
Such a cute place with great food! Came on a Saturday afternoon for brunch, there was a bit of a wait (around 30) but we were able to buy a coffee from the bakery and waited for the text that our table was ready. The decor is gorgeous and there was so much to take in between the bakery, flowers, and just how everything is beautifully decorated. Once we got seated, our server greeted us right away and took drink orders, and came back shortly for food orders. I really wanted to try the polenta as I kept seeing everyone eat it and all the photos on here, but unfortunately that was the one dish they were out of that day. I ended up with the salmon Benny instead and WOW. So so impressed! I've never had a Benedict on crispy toast before and must say it is so so much better than an English muffin. Everything from the sauce, flavor, texture. 11/10! The food came out super quick, our server was super attentive, kept checking in to make sure we were good, and got us boxes and bags for our leftover promptly. She never rushed us and even let us sit to chat a little after everything was boxed and patiently waited for us to ask for the check. So glad to have found this place and can't wait to come back and finally try that polenta!
I ordered the French toast and after maybe 10 minutes, the server brought it out. It was so burned it was charcoal! I got his attention and returned it to him saying "I can 't eat this. "He apologized and when he returned, the order was edible. I will go back and give them another chance. I like the ambiance and the wait staff are polite.
We had poached eggs polenta prosciutto n mushrooms for breakfast Friday morning. Most excellent fulfilling breakfast. I was able to finish but my dining partner ate half and ask for a box to go. Pastries look very tempting which I will try on my next visit.
