Bidrage med feedbackA wonderful Thai restaurant that serves quality and delicious Thai cuisine and a great place to hang for a drink with their friends. we had a lush eating here recently and it was not my first time there or it will be my last. some of the items I love would be the super juicy grilled pork, steamed fish with lime, green curry, brewed cake, mooping, deep roast pork and the tomyum. Only for this place is now the parking space, as there are some public transport on a side of its parking lot.
Very lively environment and authentic Thai food! The entrance was placed with few bar tables and stools for people to enjoy their beer and bar food. Once you entered, the setting immediately turned into a restaurant. The food tasted really good and authentic, especially their signature Thai seafood hotpot. The ingredients they served were really generous. There were huge prawns, abalone, clams, eggs, noodles and many more (couldn’t get a photo of it because it looked so good when they served it and everyone started digging in). Rest of the dishes were great too, just that they missed one of my order, the papaya salad. Had to remind them about it The service was great in the beginning but once the crowd started coming in, it got slower. Had to call the waiter thrice for a bowl of white rice and my bill… hope they can improve on this. Overall, great experience and looking forward to my next visit for their bar snacks and beer Highly recommended!
My very first affair with Pim's started in Klang don't think too much ya.. not a girl. Pim's is a Thai restaurant started that started in the busy port town of Selangor. The memory of having a pot full of seafood in tomyam broth still lingers on my mind. The restaurant is easy to spot, visible from the main road of Jalan Bukit Mayang Emas from Taman Mayang/Aman Syria heading towards Tropicana/Area Damansara. Spotting a big signage with spacious and modern interior Pim's super tom yum seafood noodle gotta love the sight of seafood such as clam, mussels, prawns, squid and soft shell crabs doused with the bright red/orange broth. The tomyam was done just right level of spiciness and sourness. Pim's Super Instant Mama Noodle Tom Yum Bowl the sonny requested for this dish, loved it so much that he polished the whole bowl by himself. Mix the egg yolk together with the broth for thicker texture... Satisfied to break the yolk yourself too! Pad Thai Thai version of our char kuey teow done right. Thai BBQ Grilled pork neck nobody does it better than the Thai... The meat was nicely grilled and charred with an equally nice fragrant and smokiness. My favourite dish of the day. Thai style steamed squid with the sauce poured on the spot. Signature Kai lan pork when one green plate was a norm. Somtam never judge a dish by its look.. behind the bright green colour it came with a fiery and spicy kick in the sauce. They do have private room to cater for intimate and private dining affair for more discerning parties. The menu is quite extensive and for me, price is quite reasonable.
Food was delicious. Portions were huge and well flavoured. Only service was a little slow. Really enjoyed the food.
Food is great but interior is a bit run down. Couch seats are stained and icky. Waitresses seemed overwhelmed and even just at 70-80% occupancy. Long gap time between dishes and even rice takes a long time to arrive. Process flow has room for improvement.
