Beautiful ambience, but can be a little loud. Had duck salad, 2 meat combo of Squid n Wagyu flank, and a potato salad. Dish presentation is beautiful. Nothing bad, but not excellent. The 2 squids were too big for two to finish, which is good for groups.
My first visit here was a few years ago at their inception, and that would’ve been a solid 4-5star rating. This is my second, and last visit. Extremely insipid and mediocre food. The grilled cheese is truly an abomination of goopy, processed cheese (like a less tasty cheesy wedges dip). You’d expect it to at least taste sinfully good, but it was just oily, wet, and surprisingly tasteless. It was flanked by a wet carbonara typical of Malaysian cafes, and a pizza with a better name than crust. The (most likely preserved, coloured and sweetened) cherry on the cake was that they were “out of stock” on all but 2 main menu items at 8pm on a weekday night. I wouldn’t go back even on a 50% discount.
Nice place with upscale environment and friendly but not particularly polished service. The prices are on the upper side of high. Unfortunately neither drinks nor food can justify those prices. The signature drink I ordered was just bitter and I did not notice any alcohol inside. The pasta was rather bland and too small for RM40. The lamb rack was way overpriced as well for little flavour and a lot of fat around the meat, not acceptable for the price charged. Also half of it was medium well while the other half was medium rare...
Ambient atmosphere. Friendly staff. But the dishes below my expectation. Especially pork chop and chicken meat is overcook. Will consider come again to try pasta and pizza.
