Taverna Zongo - PESARO

We had a great lunch here and would love to go back. Pasta and fish were delicious, well prepared. Good creme brulee. Nice white wine and good coffee. Well recommended!

While looking for somewhere to eat in Pesaro we came across Taverna Zongo in a slightly out of the way location,but what a great find.Not overly big on the inside or an extensive menu but more than made up for by great service,friendliness,while the food they prepared for us fantastic,good house wine while the owners were engaging to talk to.Do yourself a big favour and try Taverna Zongo when your in Pesaro.

The menu is not very long but the quality of the food and the tastes are top ranking. prices are low.

I enjoyed this restaurant, and might go again, but thought it was over rated in Trip Advisor. We therefore went expecting more. Some meals were great. Others were just okay. They only supply house wine.

We just returned from 10 days in Italy. We had lunch at Taverna Zongo on our first full day. I have to say, even after 10 days, everyone in our family agreed this meal was in our top 3. It is very small, and you should really make a reservation. Don't make the same mistake we made...you can't drive in the city center...just waiting to get that ticket via mail, LOL. The family that runs it delivered great service and great food. We booked this restaurant based on what we call the slow food bible...Osteria D'Italia 2014...now available as a super cool app on your smart phone, which I would HIGHLY recommend for your upcoming trip (best $10 you will ever spend)!
