Zambrero Subiaco - Perth

I have been frequenting this restaurant for lunch recently and have been really enjoying it. If you go between 12-1, be prepared to wait 5-10 minutes as they are not the quickest with service, but in my opinion, the burritos are definitely worth the wait. Arriving early around 11:30am usually ensures that you won't have to wait in line. While the prices may be a bit high, I always leave feeling satisfied.

I visited the Subiaco location just before closing time and was pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the ingredients. The only suggestion I have is to offer a salsa option without coriander, as it overpowers the other flavors. The location is charming and the staff is friendly, allowing you to take your time with your food choices without feeling pressured.

Subiaco's Zambreros in Perth stands out as the top choice. The staff serves generous portion sizes (unlike Scarborough) and are all incredibly friendly, always up for a chat. Additionally, they have now begun opening earlier on Sundays to accommodate those nursing hangovers.

This outlet is the closest to work. Love their black rice powerbowl and is the only thing I order. So happy it's gluten free and most sauces are as well. Their website gives a detailed breakdown of what is gluten free and what's not. I forgot to check on the sauces but staff were able answer promptly and certainly. Only downside, $13.95 is not a competitive lunch deal. Healthy and delicious tho! Oh I also found some servers to be less generous than others especially during peak hour.

Just had my first Zambreros experience last night at the subi store. I was hungry, looking for something that wasn't burgers, and willing to try something new. Up pops the Subiaco store, located less than a stone throw from Woolworths and the train station. <br/ <br/ Upon entering I was greeted by energetic, super lovely staff. They were ready to go with gloves on. Since I had never eaten here before I asked for a brief explanation of what it was all about and within a minute I had my burito made my way in my hand. And mannnn did it taste good! <br/ <br/ Will definitely be returning back here again soon, maybe even with beers since I noticed it was BYO !! Perfect little night spot.<br/ <br/ Muchas gracias amegios !
