Manise Cafe - Perth

Super pleasant hospitality by employees, hearty portion sizes and the bark rendang is exceptional. the ikan goreng (frittfisch) and baka bumbu rica are also yum! when they enjoy the international tastes of the humble little local restaurants dotted along the william street, definitely stop here. Don't forget the Teh-Terik!

Our first time and about the moon we found manise. especially my Indonesian woman who is so fussy with her eating and pleased to say she loves it very.. loves eating and homely atmosphere....so is so happy to go back.

Manise, at the top of the william street, near the mosque, serves excellent East Indonesian cuisine to very low trips. there is a small printed menu, with black boarded specials – and they often load a photo of the day special on instagram to notify them before running out – so if they follow this kind of food well! and they are unlicensed, but happy to deliver wine glasses.

A very pleasant experience. eating was delicious, service friendly and efficient and the atmosphere intimate. I can't wait to come back! recommended.

I was extremely let down by this restaurant. It was uncomfortably hot with no air conditioning, and even though the doors were left open in hopes of a breeze, it never came. The waitress seemed clueless about the menu, and the dishes we were served were not up to par for an Indonesian/Italian restaurant. To top it off, we were only given the last two Bintang beers available.
