Bidrage med feedbackWe stopped here for lunch after visiting Perryville Battlefield. We tried the Reuben sandwich and the Kentucky hot brown grilled cheese sandwich, both of which were delicious. The onion rings with comeback sauce were also very good. They have daily specials, like fried fish. The restaurant also offers a coffee bar, ice cream, and serves beer and mixed drinks. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
This is a peculiar little spot. It has a full menu with a decent number of home cooked options, lots of flavors of hand dipped ice cream, and a full bar. That being said, though, they didn't have any Bud Light, and only one Budweiser. The bartender/waiter did Google how to make an old fashioned for us. The Reuben sandwich was good and the hot brown was interesting. A first for us, Ohioans. We try to support local business and this place was definitely a local spot. The hospitality will make you overlook any shortcomings.
Danville friends, you must make your way to Perryville for Salt Honey Cafe! Delicious food, wonderful service, and lovely atmosphere! Highly recommend the chicken waffles!
This place is awesome! Kinda off the beaten path but if you’re ever out this way I definitely recommend! Ordered their cheeseburger and it didn’t disappoint. Soup beans are pretty good too. The waiter with the cowboy hat was super friendly and always made sure I was satisfied.
As a resident of Perryville, I decided to try out this restaurant based on all the buzz surrounding it. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with my experience. While the service was acceptable, the food was lacking in flavor and moisture. The menu options were also limited and unimpressive.
