Restaurant le Sud - Perpignan

Spent a couple of nights in Perpignan and made it a point to visit Le Sud and Oh my God were we not disappointed!! The minute we stepped in this charming planing place we were greeting by the most welcoming host who helped us the...menu. Their selection is as sunny and interesting as their setup. The plates are beautifully presented and they taste as good as they looked. I personally recommend the ceviche. It was such a surprising zesty fresh appetizer! We absolutely had to order another one a thing we never EVER did at a restaurant! The menu is diversified satisfactory to all taste buds and the service is excellent quick efficient and cordial. The only draw back to this place I have to say is the location that is a kind of location that has to be reached by car especially by night. Walking there might not be the of ideas. Word of the wise once in Perpignan Le Sud is an “incontournable “ like they say in French and you won’t regret it!

A true hidden gem of perpignan! the locals were extremely amicable and cozy, great and friendly waiters, delicious eating, quiet and cool atmosphere. with the visit could not be happier!

Really lovely setting for a special dinner, excellent asparagus followed by rabbit and gnocchi. Incredibly friendly service from our waiter and the owner, who gave us several tips on local sights and places to eat. She also introduced us to her cuddly 16 year old...cat, who charmed us completely.

Had dinner here last night. As ever, the food was excellent, tasting and looking great. The courtyard setting is beautiful and the service good. Not to be missed
