Bidrage med feedbackWe booked this restaurant on the Fork website and that worked well. at the arrival we were shown a selection of tables and left to decide and sit. we were then ignored for about 20 minutes. Finally, the waiter left some menus on our table., there was no possibility to order an aperitif and in the did her drink list makes nothing else than full bottles wein. I ordered sea bass from their board, just to say that the fish of the day was pierre, I don't think it would have been difficult to update the board. I ordered a complete bottle domaine de meunerie 'impromptu ', the superb was my starter was described as a kroustillon of mushrooms and turned out to be a flo bakery package with a friicassee of various mushrooms, unfortunately some of the mushrooms were not properly cooked and were quite bitter and unpleasant. my wife settled for Fois-Gras, especially because there was nothing else she had tied up. while the mushrooms were disappointing, the st pierre was really excellent, perfectly filled and very well cooked. it was accompanied by squash cut and thin, which with the outer skin still on so that it is difficult to eat. the court should contain kalamansi which I believe is a small citrus fruit, but there were no evidence for it. my wife had practically boiled by calf at low temperature, which she usually left uneaten when she found it hard. it was accompanied by what looked like the same eating sea of mushrooms as my appetizer. we didn't bother with desserts. the restaurant alienated us at the beginning with sitting opportunities and then ignored us, we felt that the service was at best amateur. the pictures here show a cozy restaurant with under-higher lighting, but in reality the lighting was too bright and there was a lack of ambiente. the food was met and missed, the st pierre was excellent, but the rest left a little to wish. I was surprised by the absentness of aperitifs and a little irritated that we were not available through the glass or in smaller bottles. even the vittel water came in a large liter bottle. on the plus side, the restaurant has a good website with a pretty exact version of its current menu.
Looking for a gluten free meal for a coeliac family member, and we came across L'intermede. A bit tucked away but close to the town centre. Food for all the family was beautiful well presented and very tasty. Portion sizes excellent. upmarket than...than the usual tourist fare, but worth it. Not expensive. Thoroughly recommend. Our meals ranged across pork, fish and beef. Wait staff and chef very friendly.
We had an exceptional meal here at the end of September whilst staying in Perpignan for one night. My husband had the set meal which included duck and I chose from the vegetarian options, the food was incredible. Our waitress was really friendly and helped...guide us through the menu despite our poor French. We were given local aperitifs while waiting for our starters, these and the food were delicious. We were made to feel very special and looked after throughout the meal. I would thoroughly recommend if you are looking for something special that isn’t stuffy and comes without the Michelin price tag.
Great meal and lovely atmosphere. I really recommend this place if you’re looking for something special off the main drag. The chef and the waiting personnel were so kind and ready to accommodate our requests. The lamb (Selle d’agneau en croute d’herbe) was delicious and...the veggie Floralie was nicely delicate. The assiette de fromages was really lovely and the tarte aux abricots delicious! A wonderful surprise to find and a memory to last!
Sampled the four course suprise menu with the paired wine. We were served tuna, clams, iberico pork and cheese cake plus local wines. Service was attentive, professional and rececptive. A must when you're in town and looking for simple, seasonal and contemporary cuisine.
