Starbucks - Peoria

Service is average here but the wait time is as bad as a McDonalds drive thru. I would have to say this is consistently the slowest Starbucks.

So I ordered the same drink I order every single time I go to Starbucks. I told them specifically what I wanted. Sometime we make mistakes. Personally I love vanilla sweet cream that’s why I’m willing to pay the extra for it. But if I tell you what I’d like and it’s not right, the manager shouldn’t argue back with me, I mean I’ve never had that happen before at any other location. Sometimes they add to much espresso and I ask for a small side of sweet cream so they don’t have to make the whole drink again. And they have no problem giving it to me as my drink I get is $14.00 and some change. For 1 drink! And I’m okay with that because I usually get exactly what I want. I expressed this to the manager, and said I’ve never had to pay extra for the sweet cream in the side if they didn’t put the extra extra in that I ordered. He said well I’m charging you, I said they do it at every single one I’ve been too. He said which one I named off East Peoria location which is fantastic. Glen and Sterling! He started naming off the managers names afterwards saying well guess I have to call this person and that person etc, I said excuse me? I don’t care what their names are, the point is I paid $14 for a drink and you guys didn’t put enough in it after I’ve been for extra extra. He then was speaking to me like I was one of his children and shut the window on me. Absolutely ruined my entire day. Starbucks is genuinely a part of my daily routine, Starbucks starts my day off great any other time! I was super upset with the service and treatment.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The coffee drinks were fantastic, and the food, service, and atmosphere all received high marks with a rating of 5 out of 5.

Although the coffee and desserts may be a little expensive, they are delicious. The staff at the Peoria Heights location is extremely friendly and will promptly fix any mistakes with your order. Overall, I would rate the food and service a 5 out of 5.
