China Grill - Peoria

This was my 1st time here. The chef/owner was very nice. I had the Orange Chicken dinner combo. My usual place was closed. I paid a few dollars more than I normally would spend for the same dish, and the portion size was a little smaller. What really stood out was that while smaller in Portion size, it filled me up nicely without having leftovers. Also, the dish had more of a sit-down restaurant taste to it, as to a restaurant whose primary business is takeout. So if that's the taste you're looking for, give them a try!

Not sure where the good reviews came from. Our food was awful. Egg rolls tasted almost spoiled one bite and into the trash. The potstickers were almost the same. Ate two and into the trash. The house fried rice looked like it had never seen a wok and several pieces of meat were inedible. We did find two shrimp at the bottom of the container which were okay. The volcano shrimp were okay. Lots of shrimp but the vegetables were all cut in different sizes so the cooking was inconsistent. It had several large whole hot peppers in it but it was surprisingly not very spicy. Again, just okay. Didn’t bother to save the leftovers.

A Locals secret Excellent food and service. Restaurant is a little bit small inside though.

Food was okay. Prices high. Lunch special had portions so small. Staff stared at us as if we didn’t belong.

I love there food I been eating it since I was a kid now I can feed my kids love this place too and there mini bar is amazing
