Something Fishy - Penshurst

The fish was tasty and cooked perfectly, but the batter lacked crispiness and the chips were not as crispy as expected. Additionally, the calamari was a bit chewy, possibly due to an issue with the oil or it being undercooked.

We ordered a variety of dishes for the family last week, including scallops, calamari, chips, fish cakes, pineapple fritters, fish cocktails, and an Aussie hamburger. It was the best meal we've had, and the staff were friendly and provided excellent service.

Ordered the cocktail pack and was very satisfied with the quality of the fish cocktails with plenty of hot chips.

The best fish and chip shop food is not greasy and is always fresh and the service is always friendly and you can see them cook the food.

Heard about this on the grapevine. Worth the drive from Southborough Common.....excellent cod! Good quality chips Queue starts early so get your Skates on!
