Bidrage med feedbackWe tried Iron for the first time on a recommendation from my brother's friend. Everything about our experience was A+. The service was friendly and helpful. Blanch assisted us with our selections and was very attentive to our needs. Best personality ever! The food! We each ordered something different because we were torn on what sounded the best. Started with appetizer Black Garlic Butter Gnocchi and Escargot. It was tender and very flavorful. Highly recommend. The three main dishes we decided on were Chili Dusted Scallops, Lamb Neck Melt, and Anise Spiced Duck. We all sampled each other's and we couldn't decide which was the best. They were each were delicious in their own rite. Two of us ended the meal with the Key Lime Creme Brulee (the third regretted not ordering as soon as they came out, so I shared. It was perfection. Everything was perfectly timed to allow for fellowship with your party and for an excellent restaurant experience. I'll definitely revisit.
Been awhile since we dined at a fancy restaurant. Definitely did not disappoint, service was great from the moment we were greeted to the moment we stepped out the door. Watching the magic happen was an experience in its self, small spaces BIG FLAVOR! Love watching the passion that went into each dish as it was plated. Each dish we tasted was different, flavorful, beautifully plated and served. Was a very very lovely experience.
Very high quality in all areas, my wife and I celebrated her 50th birthday and she has alfa-gal and they had no trouble accommodating the restriction. Dietary restrictions: You can let them know when you make the reservation or let the waiter know when you are seated. They were willing to make several accommodations and polite about anything they could not do.
Daughter and I ate something bad from this restaurant; sick for days afterwards we think it was the salad dressing.
Sensational! The food (and cocktails!! would make Alice Waters proud and the atmosphere is truly Southern slow and from the heart! No shortcuts taken on any of the classical sauces and the entire menu is a beautifully composed symphony of elegant, local/seasonal and nothing rushed and no shortcuts taken! Even more impressive: none of the snobbery you'd find at any equally good restaurant in San Francisco or Boston. I love Pensacola!!!
