La Hacienda - Pennsauken Township

Food was good and the service was great. Music was a little sad. It is an excellent family environment. ?

The Hacienda was great,the food, the service e and hey the salsas. Wow, I'm a foodie and they get the 10 from me.

We walked in at 5:25 pm and the place was empty. The place was clean and music was nice. The cashier greeted us promptly and helped us with questions about menu items. We placed our order by 5:30 pm and was told that it would be 15 to 20 minutes. That seemed reasonable, so we decided to wait. 5 groups of people came to pick up food and left during this time. At 6:10 pm I asked the waitress how much longer for our food and she said another 8 to 10 minutes. 20 minutes goes by and they finally gave us our food and drinks. I mentioned to the cashier that we should have been told that it would take over and hour to get our food and she was very apologetic. We drove the five minutes it takes to get home and the food was barely room temperature. I had to put my food in the oven to warm up. The shrimp fajitas were good and soft steak tacos were good, but the sandwich, plantains, and churros were just ok. We were very excited to eat here and are very disappointed. We will probably not be back.
