Hap Chan - Peñaranda

I don't know about other hapchans but this place gave us terrible chinese style beef steak. Cuts of the beef given had a lot of sinews and tough tissues. It also gave me a severe case of deep hiccups that lasted until 8hours. I wasn't able to eat dinner and felt very uncomfortable. After one last deep, painful hiccup, went and barfed a lot of black liquid with bits of beef and connective tissues my body somehow had been refusing to digest for the past 8hours. Truly a horrifying food experience.

The food is good and reasonably priced. Staff is courteous and very friendly.

Great tasting food; good servers. Our city based relatives prefer this branch over their local city counterpart.

Hap Chan Legazpi is truly the premier authentic Chinese restaurant in the Philippines! They have a diverse menu that includes appetizers, dim sum, main courses, and desserts.
