I had a nice lunch here. the food was delicious and the staff was all friendly. highly recommended if they are in the opposite

If they like home, eclectic, traditional pubs with a wide range of really good eating, music, games, beer garden and a pizza oven to boot, then this is the pub for them. If they like chains pubs, then they welcome a better experience! they were. well done.

We booked on Friday when we married on Saturday in the castle. storm eunice swept in Britain with devastation including total loss at the lock, the staff in the pub were so helpful, even rooms. with power to stay. eating was excellent, something outside box and not usually monotone pub grub and the pizza’s were for dying! I would highly recommend the castle inn .. fantastic atmosphere in such a small pub!

Dear pub made us all so welcome eating was brilliant and personal were amazingly thankful for all their help with us without electro in the burg.

A group of us booked a table for food and rugby Saturday night. As a small, locals type pub, we were a bit worried about the sort of welcome we would receive, however we did not need to. We were made to feel very welcome...by the staff, who could not have been anymore friendly and accommodating. As for the food, well that was great as well, with a lovely menu, good portions and all freshly cooked. Great atmosphere, great food and great welcome all added to a fantastic night; well apart from the rugby score that is!
