Applebee's Grill - Pekin

Can't really rate the food, sat for 20mins and no one waited on us, we did notice that all the other waitresses were on top of their tables but there was one in our area that I was sure was our waitress, however she was too busy having a conversation with a table to even look around. I get being friendly but you are there to do a job, and after a long day I choose this restaurant to give my money only to be ignored.

Our male waiter was outstanding and he was attentive to us although we were the only ones in the restaurant at 9:00 on a Tuesday night. We had a burger and if you like your fries done crispy like I do, be sure to ask. The deal they have going on with 5 boneless chicken for $1 is a good and I recommend the honey barbecue . They were sweet but not to and the barbecue marinade was just right but I ate it with a fork not my fingers. Drink, burger fries and $1 special I mentioned my bill came to $20.05 and left 20% cash tip. Very good !!

Great food great service friendly atmosphere. My son loves this place and so do my husband and I the food is always good and the employees are always so nice and make my son comfortable enough to order himself. We will be going again

Was terrible twenty minutes wait with over twenty unoccupied tables. Then another thirty minutes wait for cold food after ordering. Ordered a drink from bar and waited seventeen minutes for a drink and had to send it back it was awful and guide them on how to make it taste better since I use to be a bartender. Wasn't the servers fault she was trying but couldn't control when she received drinks or order or when we were seated. We watched this location lose so much money from people walking out because of long wait times when the place was full of empty to tables. Very poor experience.

Food was above average (cheeseburger and salmon). But the best thing about this place is the work force. EVERYBODY we interacted with was amazingly friendly. Our waitress (sorry I forget her name) was incredible. Attentive without being overbearing. And nice. Holy cow was she nice and friendly.
