Bidrage med feedbackWhen you walk in, this looks primarily like a grocery store. Then you notice the hot food at the register, then you see a dining area farther back. I came to get a quick lunch to go. The food is nothing fancy but you'd be hard pressed to beat the amount of food you get at that price point. Think the kind of food you'd want if you've been working hard and need something that hits the spot. Good hole in the wall type of spot where someone might think they recognize you but you're from out of state...
This place is really great for an impossibly cheap and delicious meal. It’s half market, half eatery. My wife is from Peru and got to experience Ecuadorian food for the first time here and she loved it. I’ve been to Ecuador before and I can say that this is pretty delicious and authentic food. Definitely check this place out when in Peekskill.
This place is something special. I can't speak for any of the other dishes, but what I ate was FANTASTIC! Fillet of fish, with rice, beans, picked onions and baked plantains. I went to the counter, ordered the fish with everything, especially the beans because they looked so good. And they tasted amazing, along with everything else. Washed down with sparkling water from Andes mountain springs, and you wonder how did I stumble upon this in Peekskill? Calvin Trillin would love this place.
The food is good for the price
I always went here when I was little, loved it!
