Cueva De Las Aguilas - Pedernales

Great place with a great view of the ocean and very soft beaches.

We recently visited the restaurant at Cueva De Las Aguilas and was served by one of your waiters, Yorkendi. I could not have been more pleased with my experience. From the moment I arrived, Yorkendi was incredibly friendly and accommodating. He was very helpful in answering questions about menu items and made sure to check in on us throughout the meal. I was in and out of the restaurant quickly and felt very taken care of by Yorkendi. I would highly recommend Yorkendi to any customer. He certainly made my experience a great one!

The location is amazing, same the restaurant ! Food is very good ! Waiter was very nice but service is very slow.

I saw this on a travel Informative channel and fell in love. I drive 6 hours to be welcomed by a very rude young man. He simply just gave us our bands, walked us to our tents and said breakfast is at 8am. That's it. I'll admit the only thing I enjoyed was the clear turquoise water and spending some quality time with my family. Let me continue. I felt ripped off during dinner time. We all(5ppl) ordered tostones and salami......we were served 8 totones and 2 thin slices of salami and were charged 3,453 pesos. I was super surprised sine menu said Tosotones 100 pesos..Hmmmm. As a consumer I questioned this fee and very bluntly was told....This is a resort not a corner store. To finish my review I'll simply say we checked out right after breakfast. It's not worth the money. The customer service is horendous.. Will I return???. Defenitly Not!!!

Rip off. Look out for algae around the beach by the Rancho. If you see some and still want to visit Playa de las Aguilas, be aware there will also be algae around there. We were told it would be fine by the staff from the restaurant (the ones selling the tickets) but it wasn't. They are well aware of the conditions out there and yet, they will try to charge you as much as they can. Worth asking for a reduced price if you see algae around!
