Bidrage med feedbackWe decided to spend our Sunday lunch in this restaurant, relying on the reviews that rated the place 4 stars. The outside and the interior are in line with the standard of a trattoria . There are two outside sheltered areas. The menu is tipically piedmontese. There is also the possibility of a gourmet ! menù at 30 euros. We ordered starters and pasta. They made a mistake in getting the order of the starters, so we got things different from the ordered ones and from the ones listed in the menu . Anyway, after this poor start, we waited for more than an hour the pasta. They pretend it is homemade: if so, they have a long way to walk before reaching an acceptable result. All the courses lasagne, ravioli with pumpkin sauce, agnolotti and tagliolini with porcini mushrooms were uneatable. The lasagne were drowned in tomato sauce and the serving was small , the agnolotti were glued in an indistinct block, the ravioli overdone and covered with a flavourless sauce. But the top was reached with the tagliolini. It 's good to know that in Piedmont the tagliolini are usually made with a large quantity from 12 to 40 of egg yolks for a kilo of flour. They are always bright yellow and elastic. The ones we received were pale, inconsistent, overdone and undrained, floating together with unflavoured mushrooms in the cooking water. A real waste of food. Furthermore, we were served in different times and, for the tagliolini, we waited for more than an hour and the half. At this point we decided that enough was enough and stood up: while we were paying the bill, the cook arrived with our dish of tagliolini, seized with her hand a pinch of them and ate them in front of us, just to admit they were a little bit undrained . We were petrified. In our life, we never had such an experience. The bill of 100 Euros was discounted to 70 Euros for 4 people, including water and bulk wine , but also 70 euros are a real waste of money. The service was kind, but slow and poor the cook can 't be ranked because she can 't be considered a cook, just someone that puts ingredients together .
Very good food, genuine ingredients, nice interior and location. Not your cheapest option but definitely worth it!
Simple place, nice food, fried porcini are outstanding. Last night the cacio and pepe pasta was too tasty. In the average the food is simple but good. Pricing is adequate but not cheap as you would expect.
