Asked if sausage was made in house, they said it was opa's brand. Asked for 2 meat plate with fat beef and chicken. Was told they could do chicken plate with 1/4LB brisket. Went with that. Fat beef was tender. However, fat had not rendered so was not edible. Lacked smoke ring/smoke flavor and salt. Chicken skin was delicious, crispy, and seasoned well. Chicken was a bit dry, even the dark meat. Creamed corn was excellent. Beans were a bit salty and overall not my preferred style but were tender. They forgot my silverwear, had to ask for it. Place was clean and staff friendly. Using Lockhart as gold standard, i give it 3 out of 5 stars. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
