Bidrage med feedbackAfter a plantation tour left us feeling a bit hungry, we decided to take a detour before returning to New Orleans. Luckily, we stumbled upon a restaurant with delicious Creole food and excellent service. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. We ordered the “Creole house”, which was a fried seafood plate. The quality was top-notch and we thoroughly enjoyed it, much better than the seafood we had in Mandeville.
If you're seeking an authentic Cajun dining experience, this is the place to go. There is a wide variety of options available, including combo plates for those wanting to try a little bit of everything. I went that route and everything was incredibly flavorful. If you still have room, you must try the pudding - it's absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, a great spot to indulge in some Cajun cuisine.
We stopped at this restaurant after a plantation tour. The exterior may have looked a bit rundown, but the food and the service were outstanding. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and hospitable, making our visit memorable. She even brought us some appetizers to try, without us even having to ask. The burger was a generous half pound of high-quality meat. The beer was cold and plentiful. Overall, this restaurant goes above and beyond to provide a great dining experience.
We were so hungry when we came to this restaurant. we had both the fried garnel plate (12 the largest I have ever seen), one with fries and the other the loaded kartoffels. the meal also came with a piece of garlic toast and hush puppies. everything was wonderful and the prices are appropriate. If we were native, we would be here all the time.
We went for lunch. It wasn’t too busy. I ordered the grand pointe pasta. It was delicious! My friend ordered the combo platter with fish and shrimp. Her’s was also delicious. We also ordered the sausage chips and the fried pickles. Both were also great. I’ll definitely return.
