Bidrage med feedbackThe food here is surprisingly good. The chicken karaage batter is a little thick, but crunchy and tasty. The pan fried gyoza's wrapper is thin enough but the filling is just okay. I liked their best seller, the black garlic paitan ramen. But, i deducted half a point for inconsistency. My ramen only had 1 slice of pork chashu, while my brother's had 2. I wonder if it's because I ordered a set meal? I also deducted a point for their service. The service staff were so slow and looked like they were dragging themselves to work. Nary a smile on their faces. It was only 1pm and they all look like they don't want to be there and couldn't wait to go home.
I've been trying to see if there's any changes to the Paitan Ramen from Kichitora. When we asked the owner if they madd any changes to the recipe, he said they didn't. It's still the same - they just changed the names in the menu. The Black Garlic Paitan Ramen (formerly known as Paitan Zenbu no Se) is really good. I still enjoy eating the ramen, drinking the broth and biting into that soft flavored egg. I've always opted for the pork chashu, but maybe in the future I should try the chicken one. Their gyoza and their chicken karaage are great sides to the ramen! A tip: Ask the server for some black garlic oil. It's not readily available in the condiments on the table but you can ask for more if you'd like.
One of the best and underrated ramen place. Unlike other place that were hyped and I get to try right away. This place is located at 2nd Floor of Megamall, which I personally discovered few years ago. It was great to be back with my ramen lover friend. And we felt relieved when our ramen cravings are finally satisfied. We had the Black Garlic Paitan Ramen (P390). A big bowl yet I get to finish everything inside it ???? it has strips of chasu, dried seaweeds and onion leaves with molten lava egg. Perfect! The mouthwatering broth.♥️ Verdict: 2 thumbs up for the ramen. Its consistently good????
This is my second favorite ramen place. Order their paitan with pork strips on top, the only other restaurant to use fowl as a base of their ramen broth instead of pork. The broth is thick, tasty, and full of bold flavors fatgirlsdayout.com
Their ramen is excellent. I appreciate the generous servings of pork, as well as the firm noodles. Overall excellent value for money. Just dont expect excellent resto atmosphere.
