Bidrage med feedbackI am a fan of Beef Special Chelo Kabab, but eating it at this branch made me change my mind. It does not taste as good as the food in West Ave., QC. I am so disappointed.
We had beef shawarma and beef chelo kebab. So far the best mediterranean cuisine in the Metro I've ever tasted! The only negative I can say is the lighting its just too bright for me, It almost feels like eating at a fastfood restaurant.
When the restaurant was supposed to be open their rice wasn't cooked yet so we had to wait. I'd give the food 3,5 but the service 2,5. The employees was always in the corner talking with each other so it was hard to get their attention when we were going to get the bill. I love how you can put unlimited garlic dressing on your food. I wish all Kebab/Shawarma restaurants had that.
The food was great. I would have enjoyed it if half the time i didn't have to ward off flies. The crew were nice but had to pay more attention to customers with this issue.
I've always had mister kabab on my list of places to try, ever since I saw this as a place my friends frequently to when it's late, they want something filling and satisfying. So when our officemates suggested this place for lunch last Friday I was quick to agree. This branch isn't that big, and seeing as it was lunch it was full, but we snagged a table pretty quick. Service lags though, since it looked like there were 3-4 servers at most, with one of them behind the cashier. So clean up for tables was a bit slow, and so was service. Food does come out all at the same time though, so at least you won't have to watch your friends eat ahead. I got the special beef chelo kebab, which had 2 sticks of kebab, tomatoes, and the rice with a knob of butter. I don't know if it was just this branch but I was a bit underwhelmed with the flavor of the kebab itself, though it is filling. The tomatoes I think were grilled, but I don't know what that was supposed to achieve, as it just tasted like tomato and the grill didn't lend any flavor?? I don't know. Hummus was a good side, and you do need extra pita bread, but it was also good for snacking on throughout the meal. Would I go to mister kabab again? Yes, but probably not this branch. (Though I am easily persuaded, lol)
