Johnny's Family - Pasadena

First of all great service and great atmosphere. It’s a little sanctuary of traditional American diners. It’s not the flashy place with the huge menus and the stainless steel. It’s the place that you and you buddy can go and relax and chat and drink some coffee while you are eating amazing food. I had the Louisiana creole omelette and my buddy had the breakfast platter. His platter looked great but my omelette rocked my world! I loved all the flavors and the portion and price was generous. I will absolutely be returning here. My only regret is that I have lived down the street from this restaurant for 2 years and o it just found it.

Unexpected! You walk in and it feels like you've walked into someone's home but with lots of tables and a bar! The staff are super friendly and helpful with what ever you need. Delicious food! We all got something different and everyone was happy! The cheesesteak sub was piled high, the shrimp salad filled the bun and plate. Highly recommend giving them a try if you havent already! Oh and get a side of the stewed tomatoes..yum!

Was told they were closing as soon as we sat down. Not welcoming. Not the cleanest place. My daughter didn't eat her breakfast saidwich bc she said it tasted like chemicals. I tried it and indeed it tasted like soap or something. Weird taste to the food. Soggy home fries. Best thing about the place was the toast. Will not return.

Absolutely love the breakfast here! You get great food for a decent price. The service is awesome!

I would have given you a 5-star like you've always gotten but raising your price more than 30% in one jump is a lot to take out of a budget when you're on a fixed income. Please please please reconsider such a height increase I really don't want you to lose business but if you keep the prices like this I will not be able to patronize you I won't be able to afford it.
