Chameleons - Parksville

We had a lovely meal here. We shared the crab cakes starter and got 2 large pieces so plenty to share. Then I had the seafood crepe and my husband had the full rack of ribs. His had been cooked in Coca Cola and just fell off the bones. Great friendly service. Highly recommended.

Great food from mouthwatering menu (try the seafood crepe! , fast and cheerful service, great ambience with beautiful art on the walls and pleasant background music, well-spaced tables .... just a great little place for an outstanding dinner. A bit hard to find because not very visible from the Island Highway but worth searching (turn on to McMillan and it is in the courtyard on the right

We booked ahead based upon TripAdvisor reviews which was just as well on a Thursday night they were turning away walk ins due to being fully booked. Clearly a place where the locals return regularly, Service was very friendly, helpful and efficient. They were able to provide lots of really enticing GF options. Food was very good and reasonably priced. A very enjoyable evening from start to finish.

We had such a nice time and meal here. We made a reservation and the owner was very friendly, offering to call us if a table was available early…and it was. We ordered a drink, appetizers and dinner. The food was fantastic and our servers (owner and bartender? were very attentive and we were checked on just the right amount of times. Our feedback (all excellent was relayed to the chef as soon as we finished each dish. The dining room was nice and had art and water features which added to the experience. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone…especially if you are needing to eat gluten free.

Our first approach there was only one person they couldn’t serve us they said and we went to a different truck then came back they were not respectful they food I’d give a 5/10 the customer service I’d give 0/10 would not recommend unless you want someone to be disrespectful to you for like a video or something
