Braisenville - Paris 9e Arrondissement

A wonderful restaurant, and a place quite clear! delicious combinations and almost a tapas/small plate concept that worked for us because we were not too hungry. a good evening, but some unevenness in the service (only try the night we were there.) the visit worth and...is a welcome look into today's local pariser kitchen.

Excellent eating and great service staff are very friendly and very helpful with the menu crème brûlée to die for too!

I have eaten here twice, a few years ago when I was in a hotel a block away, and then again last week when I was reminded in an FT article about places to eat alone in paris. I often travel on business and love the chance to have a quiet dinner with a good book. it's always a little intimidating as I don't speak a word French, but the team in braisenville was friendly, welcoming and funny. the bar seats were spacious and comfortable, with only enough lighting I could also read my book. highly recommended for all, including solo business traveling!

We came to braisenville for the tasting menu and had a great experience. eating was delicious, unique and good. the place was falling, but beautiful, and it was authentic.

Arriving as a party of four approaching 8pm on a Friday evening the restaurant was virtually empty and the concrete floor and furnishings did not look inspiring. as the saying goes do not judge a book by it's cover. The meal and service were the...best that I can remember. We were skilfully steered through pairing dishes on the menu and the tastes were amazing. The best culinary experience outside of a Michelin starred restaurant. If you are in Paris do not miss the opportunity to dine here. I cannot wait to return.
