Bidrage med feedbackThe Lassagna and Pizza we ordered, tasted terrible and stale and looked too fat. The service was really bad. When the dishes were put on our table, it knocked off the forks, and the guy just picked it up and put it on our table... again. We protested and gave a carpet and went away.
We had a pleasant dinner at La Tavola. The location is perfect, the food is very tasty. The staff was a but strange. We ordered a bruscetta plate as a starter and the main dishes. We received the bruscetta and only one main dish. The...waiter forgot to order two more main dishes. At the end we had a cup of coffee as compensation.
Service is outrageous: not a smile from any of the two servers I had. Dishes were set on the table without any care of whether there was enough room, ending on either my fork or knife, which I then had to retrieve by lifting the...plates myself (hoping they were not hot once . Pizza was topped by a very visible layer of oil (i.e. the cheese used isn't real cheese. Real cheese doesn't produce oil when warmed... Cheese platter (11,20 EUR is 75% low quality goat and cow cheeses (as in 3 slices of each. Cheese that can you buy in full for 1 EUR at any Leclerc or Carrefour supermarket Finally, no water, tap or not, was proposed, even though it's part of the very basic thing any restaurant does anywhere in France. I definitely DO recommend to NOT go there.
We were there on July 4th, we ordered a Lasagna and a pizza. The Lasagna was bolognese with beef and smelled very bad. When asked the person sitting next to us, he said It is good, it is fish! We told the waitress and she...said it was good, that the cheese smelled like that. We could had got intoxicated. At the end, we shared the pizza, did not eat the lasagna but had to pay for it nevertheless 14 Eur. I totally recommend to avoid this place.
I actually had to search around to make sure this was the right place after reading the reviews. our slightly picky kids wanted pizza and we spotted this restaurant. Italian, the place was half full so we went in. We were greeted with a wonderful...aroma and friendly staff who were very patient with our limited French and Italian. ordered focaccia, calamari, spaghetti agilo e olio, and carbonara. everything was excellent, the kids finished everything! Dessert didn't disappoint either, tiramisu and chocolate mousse. I'm very glad I didn't read other reviews before going here, we would have missed out.
