Bidrage med feedbackVery good selection of steaks. Tried a couple of them. The grain fed was in my view the best. The top side with fat melted over the top was not so great as it was tough and very dense. Good starters of mussels and good wine list. Great service but poor air conditioning (during a Paris heatwave). Well worth a visit but not cheap
I was looking for a new steakhouse and decided to try this place, located in a small street in Montparnasse neighborhood. The main dining room is located on the back, while the bar and few tables are available in the front. The menu offer an impressive choice of meat from different renown regions such as Aubrac, Argentina Angus, Australia or US Prime Wagu, … in different sizes and cuts. We started with the polenta-Belotta croquetas and the asparagus as appetizer and had a tender Argentinian rib eye and a thick and tasty picanha cut with crispy home-made French fries. Good choice of wine by the glass. We picked the always reliable Catena Malbec. The setting is quite modern, but the atmosphere lacks warmth, due probably to the bare tile floor and bare walls that amplifies the noise, particularly with large parties in the room. The service is excellent. Book the table on the front side.
Excellent food, and the waitrose was really friendly and took the time to explain each steak to us in English. Was pricey but would not hesitate to go again
I had never been Paris before, I went for my husbands birthday and decided on this restaurant. It was great and I was so happy with my choice. The menu is in French but the waitresses helped with translating and recommended dishes. The meat was extremely tender and melted in your mouth. Only criticism was they did not give you enough sauce so we had ask for more a few times (but this is down to our personal choice) most certainly recommend this restaurant if you have something special to celebrate. They also presented my husband with a macaroon with a candle without any prompt from myself, they had over heard our conversation of birthdays. Great experience!
We visited on a quiet midweek night in January. They were so helpful with the menu and the food was brilliant. We can hardly speak any French beyond the usual simple sentences but don't want to get stuck eating at tourist restaurants with English menus. The manager and all staff were so friendly and helpful but more importantly the food was fantastic. Would definitely visit again when in Paris. Thank you
